Quick summary
Schengen 90/180 Tracker keeps trip data on your device by default. If you enable Pro, you can optionally back up trip history to your own iCloud account. Purchases are handled by Apple, and we do not sell personal information.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy covers the Schengen 90/180 Tracker app and SchengenRules.com. The app sections explain device storage, iCloud, and purchases. The website section below explains anonymous website measurement.
By default
Trip data is stored locally on your device, and you do not need to create an account.
Optional Pro feature
If you enable Pro, you can back up trip history to your personal iCloud storage.
Purchases
Apple handles payment processing and RevenueCat helps manage entitlements.
What data the app may store
Stored locally on your device
- Trip dates you add
- Entry and exit dates
- Planned travel dates
- Stay calculation results
- App settings
- Subscription access status
Why we store it
The app uses this information only to track Schengen travel days, calculate 90/180-day stay limits, and help you plan future travel.
The app does not require account registration or user login.
Where your trip data lives
Local by default
Trip history, planned travel dates, calculation data, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a user account system, and we do not intentionally collect your travel history on our own servers.
If you delete the app, locally stored app data may also be deleted from your device, depending on your device settings and backup configuration.
iCloud Backup (optional, Pro)
If you enable Pro, the app can back up your trip list to your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage. This backup lives in your own Apple ID's private iCloud storage and syncs only between your devices signed into the same Apple ID. We have no server and no ability to access, read, or recover this data — it never reaches us.
To stop syncing, disable iCloud for the app in your device Settings. Deleting the app from your devices removes its data from your device, and the associated iCloud key-value data is removed by Apple per its retention rules. You can also clear all trips from within the app's Settings at any time.
How subscriptions and purchases work
Apple App Store
Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store. Apple may collect and process payment information according to Apple’s own privacy policy and payment terms.
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat helps manage in-app purchases, subscription status, purchase validation, and access to premium features.
RevenueCat may process purchase-related information, such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, device identifiers, and anonymous app user identifiers, to confirm access.
Other services the app uses
Notifications
The app may ask permission to send local notifications for travel reminders, trip planning reminders, or Schengen stay-related reminders.
Analytics and advertising
The app does not currently use third-party advertising. It does not currently use third-party analytics outside the core purchase and subscription management handled through RevenueCat.
Future updates
If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Website measurement
The web calculator processes trip dates in your browser. It does not send trip dates, visa details, or calculation results to our server.
When website measurement is enabled, we use Cloudflare Analytics Engine to count page views, calculator starts, successful calculations, and App Store link clicks. Event records contain only the event type, a predefined page path, link placement, broad referral category, landing-page path, and broad device category. They contain no user identifier, IP address, full browser user-agent string, raw referrer URL, or URL query parameters.
A temporary sessionStorage entry keeps only the referral category and landing-page path in the current browser tab so navigation within the site does not lose that context. It contains no identifier or trip information. We do not set analytics cookies. Analytics Engine retains event data for up to three months.
The website honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by skipping these measurement events. Cloudflare still processes ordinary connection information needed to serve and protect the website under its own service practices.
App Store links include Apple campaign parameters identifying this website and the link placement. Apple may report attributed downloads in App Store Connect, subject to its privacy protections. These links do not include your travel information.
Children, international users, changes, and contact
Children’s privacy
The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
International users
Purchase and subscription-related information may be processed by Apple, RevenueCat, and their service providers according to their own systems and privacy practices.
Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or changes to the services we use.
